Jewelry
Signed ART
Offering high quality jewelry with an emphasis on medieval, renaissance styles, ART was in business
from the late 1940's. But the heyday of this company came during the 1960's when they
produced for us dozens of interpretations of ethnic Asian figural jewelry,
Egyptian revival large metal pectorals, Maltese crosses, and an entire line of jewelry with delightful small enameled flowers. Most collectible besides the Christmas tree pins are the
Maltese crosses and the enameled daisy jewels; but the hardest to find pieces are decadent rhinestone
sets that are very similar to Florenza jewelry. The prices of jewelry signed ART(c) will only continue to rise.

Double
Star Flowered Filigree Brooch Signed ART
Circa 1960. This unusual stacked jewel is from a line of ART jewelry with little flowers imposed over antique goldtone filigree. This one is a bit harder to find, with one 5 pointed star applied over another, making 10 points, the symbol of woman and her spiritual well being as well as living in harmony with the nature, and love of animals. The filigree, dotted with small green painted flowers and hot pink flowers as well as tiny faux pearls, would look fab with light or neutral colors. The jewel measures 2 1/2" x 2 1/2" and is signed on the back, ART(c). It is in Very Good condition. $35
