Delightful Vintage Enamel Pansy Brooch
Another flower power jolt from the 1960s, we have for you a seldom seen pansy pin signed Accessocraft. This one is sturdier than the tin flower power pins, with purple and yellow enamels baked onto the riveted goldtone finding and centered with a prong set faux pearl. The leaves are enameled spring and deeper green, but the stem stays naked goldtone! The colors are wild enough that this does not need to be a big brooch, like others in the '60s flower power garden. Exquisite Crystal Spray Brooch Pin Signed ART This dazzling beauty is one of the nicest creations I've seen by ART(c). The goldtone plating is so interesting with the combination of polished and engraved textures, and the three dimensional stacking of layers is just right for this piece. Light and medium topaz crystals topped with golden beads twist here and there as if going straight for the sun. Accented by AB crystals in little dewdrop cups on the leaves and among the flowers is is endearing. The brooch is 2 3/8" x 1 7/8" and is in Excellent condition. Swoboda Bird on Amethyst Branch, Nest with Gemstone Eggs For you is one of the much loved signed Swoboda bird in nest pins. It seems they made them all differently! This one is a ceramic bird painted turquoise blue and medium lavender on a gold plated branch loaded with amethysts; she guards her nest of carved howlite eggs. I just adore this pretty little thing, which I've had packed away for years and never worn. It's time for Bambi to find a new home, with someone who will wear the fawn. The incredible design offers flushed textured gold tone metal sparkling with pink, green, white and aqua rhinestones and cabs set into the metal. A big green navette for the eye, and we have a true beauty. Think of how this jewel will set off spring dresses and shirts. Art Deco Pin with Ruby Red Hexagon Stone. Larger than the usual collar pin, this circa 1920's piece has a Czech look to it, but no signature. The stamped brass has aged beautifully, is free of verdigris, full of beaded and floral decorations and studded with prong set green, blue and red pastes, some of which appear to be older cuts, similar to old mine cuts. All the stones are unfoiled. The center faceted hexagon stone is fabulous ruby red, just gorgeous, set openback in decorated prongs. The back is equipped with an open C-clasp. Sterlingcraft by Coro Retro Modern Vermeil Vintage Brooch
Sterlingcraft is among the better Coro signatures for sterling vermeil brooches made during the 1940s, when base metals were called in by the US government. The style is retro modern, for sleek, geometric, or curvy ribbonesque sterling brooches and other sterling jewelry made during that same time period with either one rhinestone or just a few. These are usually unfoiled stones. This beauty is 2 7/8" tall x 2 1/4" wide and offers three beautiful unfoiled sapphire glass stones prong set into openback settings. The vermeil has no wear mentionable and the brooch is in Excellent condition. Signed inside the smaller ribbon curl on the left side, Sterlingcraft by Coro around the inside of an oval plate. $72

Cockatiel or Bird of Paradise Rhinestone Brooch
This beautiful peacock, cockatiel, or bird of paradise was created and copied by several designers or manufactures during circa 1930s to mid-1940s. I've never seen one signed. This is the shorter version at only 3" tall. In Warman's Vintage Jewelry, 2008 edition, page 10, author Leigh Leshner shows this bird in several sizes and explains that differences in design sizes were common. Crystal rhinestones are pave along the body and tail feathers of bird, who also sports a twinkling blue rhinestone eye. The bright silvery finish does not show much wear, and the rhinestones flash like crazy. Very Good+ for this beloved antique. Fastens with early safety catch. $68 |

Huge Spectacular Vintage Rhinestone Bow Brooch -- 6" WideYears ago, a customer wanted a vintage bow brooch at least 6" wide for her wedding. I've been on the lookout ever since, and though she is now happily married, there is someone reading this right now who wants the biggest brooch we've ever offered on Enchantment. Though the style is circa 1935, the brooch is rhodium plated, unusual for its' day. Though unsigned, it's a beautifully designed and well made. |

Each side looks like an angel's wing, with flighty openwork and raised tiers of square rhinestones incorporated into the pave design As you can expect with a brooch of this period, some of the rhinestones are aging, but none are discolored and the overall look is sparkling, brilliant and clean. This incredible jewel is 6" wide from the widest points; each side is 3 1/8 tall. Condition is Excellent! Enjoy this rare, rare beauty! $160.
