Red Hot Chunky
Juliana Rhinestone Brooch You're going all the way today, and that means dressing up that little black dress in ruby red and passionate purple. In fact, when you gaze into the wonders of this brooch you'll spot another flash of color--hot pink chatons peeking from under the unique gold mesh bands which look as if they are there to keep a little volcano from exploding! This is the brooch of love, loaded with prong set open back navettes, ovals and the round chatons in gold tone. The brooch is dome shaped, rising a full 7/8" from top to bottom, which is why it seems so much bigger than it's 3 1/8" length. Even if you're dressed demurely, when you wear this lengthwise under your collar he's going to think of cleavage. Enjoy year around--this can be your signature piece. But be careful; you may be playing with fire.... Excellent condition. $62

Exquisite Maltese Cross Brooch/ Pendant Signed ART. This is one of the most detailed and well designed medieval revival jewels of the 1960's. A fine array of crystal clear rhinestones as well as topaz, amethyst & emerald rhinestones with faux carnelian cabs are encrusted over an elaborately beaded textured Florentine antiqued gold tone base jewel. The cross is high in quality with three layers of cross motifs in one. You can see from the back of the jewel that the layers are riveted. We have the antiqued gold base layer, then the bejeweled second layer and finally a center of with a pointed sunray motif paved with diamante. The brooch also doubles as pendant; included is a good quality 30" gold tone chain that, while not the original chain, is a good match. The back is marked ARTŠ. Measuring measures 2 1/4" on all sides, the brooch/pendant is in Excellent condition. $62 |

| Delightful Eisenberg Sterling
Rhinestone Pin 1947 Ad Piece What would be the best gift to give yourself for being a sparkling jewel of a gal? You'll love to add this precious signed Eisenberg sterling brooch to your collection. A diamante delight, the wild retro spray pin with pave ribbon curls featured with it's twin in a 1947 Vogue advertisement. The ad reads "Hallmarked Eisenberg Originals...Imported Stones Hand Set in Sterling Silver." The pave and prong set chatons are mainly clear and bright. Under magnification you can see a few smaller stones beginning to age, though none are dark or yellow. Measurements are 1 3/4" tall x 1 1/2 inches wide. It is signed Eisenberg in the middle; on a lower edge is the sterling stamp next to a B inside a circle--probably the stone setter's mark. Very Good condition. Enjoy this treat for $145 |

Big White
Enameled Multicolor Rhinestone Butterfly Brooch. Circa 1960s. Weiss did a number of styles using colored enamels similar to japanning, but this beauty is unsigned. Still, with sparkling quality spring and summer enjoy this butterfly, a lovely confection loaded with multicolor rhinestones--hot pink chatons make up the butterfly body, while the wings are adorned with green and blue chatons with pink navette accents, all on a white japanned filigree fitting. Dimensions 2 3/4" at the wingspread by 2 1/4" tall. Brooch is in excellent condition. $48 |

Exquisite Early Century
Shell Cameo in Brass Setting This delightful lady has some of the plumpness of Victorian ladies, but her hair is bobbed and her nose uptilted, signifying an early century date, perhaps into the 1930's. Notice the individual hair strands, the lovely draping of her gown, and the flowers and foliage at her shoulder and her deep set eyes. Her color is ivory with hints of a red-brown layer showing through on her skin and in her hair, carved against a carnelian colored background. She rests in a gilded hammered setting with early lever type safety clasp. On close examination it appears that the bezel was once gilded, but the gold coloring has worn off down to silver base metal. Measurements, including the frame, is 1 1/2" tall x 1 1/4" wide. She is perfect, with no cracks, chips, scratches or discoloration. Excellent. $78 |

Multicolor Art Glass & Navette Rhinestone Domed Brooch You aren't really spoiled, but you certainly deserve to be! And here's just the Juliana-style jewel to not only delight your sense of luxury, but also to delight his sense of you. The domed jewel is piled high with marquise cut rhinestones, foiled art glass, molded glass, aurora borealis & sparkling confetti stones. Accented by chatons in AB peacock, lavender and light topaz, you can hardly see the smooth gold tone finding where the stones bask luxuriously. Dimensions are 2 7/8" long, but the brooch seems much larger because it rises a full inch from the lower surface. You will sparkle every which way in this beauty! Very Good condition, with minor surface wear that can be seen only under 5x magnification. $62

1980's Ravishing Lady Bonetto Watch Pin
in Original Box Absolutely the loveliest lady watch pin I've seen by Bonetto. Her bisque face is hand painted; one eye peeks sweetly from beneath her jaunty sparkly cloth hat, which is laced with rhinestone chain. Further decorated with a pearly heart, carved shell roses, faux pearls, long rhinestone navettes and a large rivoli, plus goldstone leaves and flowers, she strikes an elegant impression. The silvertone watch with diamond-like digits on the face seems like an afterthought, but it runs perfectly with a brand new battery. This irreplaceable jewel totals 3 1/2" tall x 2 1/2" wide. The watch by itself is 7/8" in diameter. The clear Lucite top of the original box has a few scratches, but otherwise the watch and the lady are still Like New on original card in box with the old warrantee card! $65 |

Rare Weiss Painted Enamel Egg Brooch In years of buying costume jewelry, I have seen only one other enameled egg by Weiss; it was pink and it was already sold. This is a rare pin, probably made in the late 1960's, just before Weiss closed its doors. Weiss made a some highly collectible enameled pieces during those years, some of which are now being counterfeited; real ones, except for some of the enameled flower power pins, are all fairly hard to find. This one does have a textured back; but the texture is different from the kind found on the counterfeits. The basic color is red, crossed on the diagonal with gold tone lines, making diamond motifs in which white flowers with green foliage are enameled. This unique brooch measures 2 1/4" tall x 1 1/2 wide" and stands 3/4" high from the surface. There is a small amount of wear to the enamel that can be seen with a loupe but nothing substantial. Very Good condition. Signed (c)Weiss in an oval in back. $135 |

Edwardian Opal Glass/Dragons
Breath in Sterling Collar or Lace Pin. A scarce & lovely little piece, this feminine pin is hand set with a bezel and perched into a lacy sterling openwork frame. My jeweler said the stone was "opal glass," a faux opal from the olden days. It is also known as Dragons Breath. The sparklies within the glass are probably foil. The stone is just brilliant and reflects alternate colors depending on movement and light. Dimensions are 1 1/8" wide x 7/8" tall. Clasps with ball hinge and old C-hook. Excellent condition. $58

1930's
Diamante Leaves with Ruby Red Emerald Cut Pastes For the vivacious, glitz loving gal, this circa Art Deco beauty offers a tropical waving fronds design, a rhodium plated metal setting for clear pave rhinestones and linear emerald cut ruby red pastes guaranteed to flash invitingly from across the room. I'm thinking black dress, perhaps a jewel tone jacket, or a sapphire blue or cream colored romantic blouse. Would you attract too much attention if you let this zesty jewel strike sparks from a dark teal evening dress for holiday splendor? Measuring 2 1/8" x 3", this cast piece is very well made, designed in two layers of rhodium plated base metal. The bezel set pastes are still dazzling. Very Good+ condition. Enjoy for $65 |
