Lisner Sparkling Green Rhinestone Stylized Wreath Brooch Perhaps you've seen the bracelet, earrings and necklace that mate this pretty thing. Geometric beaded openwork rises from the base, forming a 7 pointed star. The different textures of gold tone and the small green rhinestones play with light for a clean, fresh look, for the holidays as well as year around. For an ultra special necklace, double and loop a long string of beads between the pinback and the opening in front and you'll have a glamorous look without the cost. Adorable, Lively Vintage Pony Brooch Rare. He's doing what ponies love, prancing wild in a flower-strewn meadow of yellow enameled flowers with green leaves and faux pearls. Decked out with rhinestones in him mane and tail, he holds in his teeth a pink enameled jeweled rose for his lady. He deserves to be worn, and it breaks my heart to have to part with him. At 3 1/4" tall and 2 1/2" at the widest, he's a big boy from the early 1950s, around the time Coro was making their pretty horses. My friends insist this brooch is a lost Coro, but he's unsigned. He's high quality with good heft, made from thick cast metal finished with golden plating. The near-Excellent condition is remarkable--I could not find any wear in the plating on the front, and on the back, only a bit along the edges. Rhinestones are bright and faux pearls are faultless. You (and I) may never find another like him. $150 |

Western Germany Rhinestone and Faux Pearl Filigree Brooch This lovely brooch from West Germany will make a pretty display beneath the collar of that pretty button up shirt or dress. Or pin it over the closed top button, to add a touch of femininity to a plain light jacket. The medium topaz prong set rhinestones along side perched or nested faux pearls further decorate a display of ornate beaded gold tone filigrees and applied swirls filled with pale, pearly enamel. The top offers a coronet-set large faceted oval stone. Because this pin is done in light, airy layers, it is not particularly heavy. In almost perfect condition, the brooch is signed W. Germany beneath the pinstem. Excellent. $34

Pink & Green Aurora Crystal Bicone Pin
For a colorful Springtime, this unusual crystal pin will remind you of the sunny days ahead. High quality Aurora Borealis AB crystal rhinestones in green and pink are wired to a light goldtone base. Victorian Red and Aqua Paste Brooch Not marked. This wonderful openwork pin was purchased by me from a seller in Czechoslovakia, and due to it's style and color, I believe it is from old
Bohemia. Aqua blue European cut pastes are prong set into a 6 sided bar frame,
while the smaller fire colored pastes are positioned in beaded arrow or double
leaf motifs along the edges. One central ruby red paste, secured in a delicately
beaded bezel, sits in the middle of a chased and beaded setting between
brass scrolls.

Adorable ART(c) Turtle Brooch Chunky with Flowers & Faux Pearls This hard to find turtle pin is not only a great investment but also a piece that will add a dash of color and levity to settings ranging from office to summer vacation. The highly domed shell is piled high with moonglow, faux coral lapis and pearl beads and cabs, accented with pretty green teardrop cabs on beautifully textured gold tone metal. Fabulous Huge
1930s Bird of Paradise Brooch A great collectible, this huge cockatoo or bird of paradise, with his lavish wings and luxurious tail feathers, is sure to make melodious melodrama when you perch him on your black or jewel colored coat this fall & winter. The cast pot metal is tiered with flowing feathers spreading over others, and the two wings are layered. Clear crystal pave rhinestones are set in the chromium plated base. This timeless jewel fastens with good safety catch; it's heavy so be very careful with light fabrics. Dimensions are just a bit under 4" tall. From wings to tip of beak is 2 1/4", so this show jewel covers a lot of area.The rhinestones are aging but are overall still sparkly after 80 years. Very good, clean condition. $78 |

These kinds of antique brooches, so reflective of art nouveau known and loved over 100 years ago, can only rise in value. BSK Elf Pin with Green Gemstone Want something simple but striking? Consider this beautifully textured golden pin by BSK. Possibly made as late as the circa1970, when tumbled natural gemstones were in style--some costume jewelers even made rhinestones and plastics look like tumbled gemstones--but the stone is a genuine, and this little fella is cute in his pointed leaf cap, sitting cross- legged with the big claw set jade green wonder. The pin measures 1-3/4" x 1-1/2" but seems a larger size due to the 3-dimensional construction, rising 3/4" from the pinstem. On the back is the signature BSK(c). Delightful Clear & Blue Lucite Cameo Habille
This unusual jewel is a rather saucy tribute to the cameo. The feminine cream colored molded resin cameo sits on a midnight blue Lucite platform which is attached to a another thicker, clear faceted Lucite base, which throws shades of blue here and there. Even better, this one is a habille, which means that the cameo lady is also wearing a jewel, a shining rhinestone like a brooch to drape her silky gown. Dimensions of this jewel is 1 3/8" x 1 6/8".
