Coro-Craft Sterling Vermeil Dramatic & Vibrant Purple & Crystal Retro
Bouquet Among the most collectible Coro pieces, the particular patented brooch is among the most elegant of WWII Coro-Craft Sterling, one of the best cared for of this type that I have yet to see. Every stone is sparkling. Patented in 1944 by Adolph Katz, the lush design offer s a purple oval flowers accented with crystal chatons with a whirling ribbon design lit with lines of chatons. The brooch is thick sterling with a coat of rose gold vermeil. Measuring 3" tall x 2 1/4" at the widest, the brooch is ready to add that touch of 1940s' Joan Crawford glamour to your sweater, lapel, or coat. Signed on a plaque in back, Sterling Coro-Craft in script, condition is Excellent, with little to no wear on the rose gold vermeil coating except in back, deep under the pin stem an area around the rivet, where someone also left a bit of silver polish. Emmons BIG Aurora Borealis Rhinestone Filigree Leaf Brooch. Here's AB rhinestone wonder that is nearly blinding, the clean silver color of the rhodium plating being nearly white! (in the scan it shows a bit grayer) If you've ever seen Christmas tree lights reflect on snow, then you'll see this brooch is as great for the holidays as it will be for summertime evenings. The stem leads to four curving filigree leaf fronds set with crystal AB rhinestone in half prongs flashing rainbow lights like crazy. The delicate beaded filigree edges add a wondrous lacy look. Sterling Vermeil
Retro Modern Floral Brooch with Ruby Red & Pink Stones Designed with drama in mind, prepare to be noticed when you wear this fabulous Retro sterling silver beauty. The prong set oval stones are rich ruby red, and at the stem, a single pink stone. The ruby reds are unfoiled but I can't tell with the pink, it's not set high enough in the cup. This pin measures 3 1/8" tall x 1 7/8" wide, and will look utterly glamorous on a coat lapel or blouse. Marked Sterling on the round plaque on the reverse, along with 1/20 12K GF. There's also a little cross symbol next to the g on Sterling, which may be a hallmark. This brooch is in Excellent condition with no significant wear in the vermeil finish. $48 |

Autumn Splendor Dark Pink Swirl Lucite Leaf Pin A favorite pin by Sarah Coventry back from 1975 is Autumn Splendor, but with that heart melting marbled dark pink color, this jewel must be springtime and summer splendor as well. Guaranteed to brighten any complexion, and what could be better than the dash of happy color it brings when you wear it. This is a nice 1/8 thick slab of thermoset set in smooth, faultless goldtone, 2 7/8" tall and 1 1/2" wide. The earrings are harder to find; I promise to look for them. Victorian Antique Hand Painted Porcelain Roses An unusual design, not the fact that there are roses, but the shapes and colors used. Against a lovely series of pale yellow, blue and green glazes are three fabulous magenta roses, all painted from different angles and decked with a profusion of forest green foliage. A band of gilding neatly surrounds the edges of the porcelain, but this band does not extend into the picture and can only be seen from the side. 1930's Large Pave Rhinestone Tulips Bouquet
Brooch At 3 3/8" x 2 1/4", this graceful pre-Retro design in white metal, paved with clear rhinestones, will bring brilliance and style to the shoulder of that coat and happiness to your collection. Notice the larger chatons in faux prongs, rising as stamens from each tulip. All the rhinestones are present and still flash & sparkle at their hearts, though a few are a bit darkened, but there is neither yellowing nor dead stones.
