Coro Red-Hot Rhinestones Bracelet Wrap your wrist in breathtaking color, courtesy of Coro jewelry, A light golden finding of heart shaped links is loaded with red-orange rhinestones that look like little pools of fire. Wear it with green to give their eyes and extra pop. Brilliant and sparkling, this great bracelet is 3/4" wide and clasps at 7 1/4" with a wide foldover clasp marked Coro with the Pegasus symbol. Sorry about the too-small reverse image--scanner was accidentally set to 50%, but I can assure you that the smooth golden backing is fault free--there's no wear, not even on the links, although the necklace that came with it had a bit more wear, and will soon be added to the Shabby Chic section. It won't be easy to find this beauty anywhere else in such Excellent condition. Enjoy for $45 |

Vermeil Sterling Coro-Craft Dramatic & Vibrant Purple & Crystal Retro
Bouquet Among the most collectible Coro pieces, the particular patented brooch is among the most elegant of WWII Coro-Craft Sterling, one of the best cared for of this type that I have yet to see. Every stone is sparkling. Patented in 1944 by Adolph Katz, the lush design offers a purple oval flowers accented with crystal chatons with a whirling ribbon design lit with lines of chatons. The brooch is thick sterling with a coat of rose gold vermeil. Measuring 3" tall x 2 1/4" at the widest, the brooch is ready to add that touch of 1940s' Joan Crawford glamour to your sweater, lapel, or coat. Signed on a plaque in back, Sterling Coro-Craft in script, condition is Excellent, with little to no wear on the rose gold vermeil coating except in back, deep under the pin stem an area around the rivet, where someone also left a bit of silver polish. Moonglow Light Pink Confetti Lucite Bracelet & Earrings by Coro To take you back to the sock hop era is this delightful Coro pale pink link bracelet, with confetti Lucite chiclet squares set between art moderne lattice design gold tone links. This set is a variation on Coro's 1956 Moonray jewelry line, which is an all time favorite and still affordable. The 7/8" wide bracelet clasps at 7 1/8." The matching clip back earrings are 1" and signed (c)Coro in script. The bracelet is also signed on the fold-over clasp. Coro Icy Berry Brooch This lovely springtime offering was featured in this 1962 Coro ad showing the brooch in pink. This nicely designed berry has all clear rhinestones, chatons topped with another layer of marquise cuts as berry leaf material, and then by a stem in polished and textured gold tone. All the stones are set in beehive-like openwork. Brooch measures 2 7/8" tall x 2" wide. Signed Coro in slanted cartouche with Pegasus symbol and copyright mark. Coro Confetti Lucite Peter Pan Necklace Set Someone--you perhaps?--will have loads of fun in this necklace. The upside-down triangles give the necklace that wild Peter Pan look. Small pieces of golden foil are embedded in clear Lucite inserts with a pale buttercup yellow base. The fitting is smooth gold tone. Matching clip on earrings add their razzle dazzle to attract attention to your smile and to bring a spark to your eyes. And, well....his eyes too! Necklace measures 16 3/4" maximum clasping length with plenty of chain for adjustment to choker or even collar size. Exquisite Coro Purple Oblong
Rhinestone Earrings These one-stone wonders have got to be from the 1940's, but there is hardly a hint of wear. The emerald-cut prong set amethyst glass stones are without a hint of peppering and are full of sparkle, the gold tone findings have little wear, the finish all intact. These fine screw-on earrings are 3/4" each but they are thick and substantial. Each is marked Coro in script without the copyright mark. Excellent. $24 |

Massive Coro Craft Cala Lily with Red Rhinestone Blossoms From the late 1930's or early '40s, this large, very heavy riveted coat brooch 4 3/8" tall x 2 1/2". A pave rhinestone temp and ribbon swirl leads to the open flower head where there is plating loss revealing the silver base metal around the brilliant red & clear rhinestone stamens. The wear appears in the area likely to be the most polished during cleanings, giving a well-cared for vintage look. Signed on a cartouche in back Coro Craft in script. Other than the plating wear already mentioned, the brooch is Excellent, with bright sparkling rhinestones, good straight pin back, and, except for the area around the stamens, all of it's gold tone plating. You may never see this beautiful old classic again. $125 |

Sparkling Springtime Pastel Rhinestone Necklace Parure. You will have an enchanted Springtime in this lovely Coro rhinestone parure featuring flowers and foliage. The necklace runs like a vine across the centerpiece, loaded with purple, pink, yellow, green & blue rhinestones all set in half prongs within gold tone findings. The brooch is a a graceful, undulating rush of flowers, and the clip back earrings are little nosegays. These jewels may be in an ad somewhere, and I will try to find out the name of the set. The brooch is shown in diamante in Fred Rezazadeh's book, COSTUME JEWELRY. We also feature the brooch in ruby red here. Necklace clasps at a maximum of 16" but is adjustable for choker length; the brooch is 2" x 2 1/4"; the clip back earrings are 1". Bracelet A unique personality requires a unique bracelet--is this late 1940's floral bracelet for you? Both feminine yet bold, this floral seems to convey something exciting is about to happen. Aqua prong-set oval rhinestones surround a ruby red chaton in a gold tone floral centerpiece with heart-shaped petals and bursting stems. Scarce Coro Black
Glass Cameo Brooch Coro made enough cameo jewelry to make Coro cameos a collecting field in itself. This one is an unusual, scarce find. The black cameo is molded matte glass applied on shining glass. The exquisite lady has flowers and leaves in her wavy bobbed hair, and she wears a draping gown. She seems to be looking far away, with a mysterious smile on her face as enigmatic as Mona Lisa. The cameo is applied to a shiny, thick jet glass oval held in a sawtooth edged bezel. The frame is beaded and decorated with stamped flowers. The brooch is a good size at 2 1/8" tall by 1 3/4" wide and 3/8" thick. Signed Coro in script without copyright mark. Vintage Book Piece Coro Ruby Red Rhinestone Brooch Unusual design, circa 1950s. The brooch in a blue rhinestone version is presented on page 66 of Fred Rezazadeh's 1998 book, Costume Jewelry~A Practical Handbook and Value Guide. This graceful double branch brooch will be sure to bring a bright, subtle sparkle to your evening wear. The jewel is high in quality, with deep ruby-red rhinestones that sparkle from a rhodium plated setting. The Coro signature, in script, can be found on the V-shaped pin finding. Dimensions are 2 1/2" x 2 1/8". This brooch is in very good, clean condition.

FRANÇOIS is a seldom seen Coro mark. François is a line of Coro jewelry that began in 1938 and continued until at least 1961, possibly later. Although collectors often think of Vendome as Coro's couturier line, François was one Coro's earliest couturier lines along with Coro Craft. Vendome Black Beauties Beaded Glass Oblong Earrings It's hard to see in the scans, but the centers of these black-and-blue clip-on beauties are made up of 4 glass slightly oblong flat stones that are wired onto the filigree back. They are surrounded by a twisted double row of tiny dark blue-gray metallic beads, contrasting very dramatically with the rhodium plated filigree backing. The clips, which are signed Vendome, also have a screw mechanism so the clips can be adjusted for comfort. Signed The earrings are 7/8" square and are in Very Good condition with tiny nicks that can be seen only under magnification. $22 |

Retro Bow Pendant Necklace Set SOLD Relive the glitz & glamour of post WWII days in this highly collectible, ravishing Coro Retro Bow demi. Complete with streamlined knot of channel set chaton rhinestones and aqua squares, plus the lattice openwork, atomic-style sprays of aqua chatons and mesh chain, this retro modern set speaks everything of late 1940s style. The design was patented by A. Katz in 1948 as a "brooch or similar article," and in those days Coro "Pat. Pend" designs were very often released before the patent date. See the Coro design patent D151133 taken from the US Govt. Patent Site. Measurements of the pendant drop is 2" long, bow is 1 1/2" wide on 16" of snake chain with spring ring clasp.
