B. David Mother's Rhinestone Earrings

Screw on findings. These twinkling earrings are the mate to one of the B. David Mother's crown pins. These earrings display crystal teardrops and chatons are accented by ruby red, emerald green, amber topz and sapphire blue, with all stones prong set in rhodium. Only 3/4" in diameter, they pack plenty of scintillating color and light. Excellent condition. Signed 'b. david' on the top of the screw on findings. $22

Barclay ~ Barclay jewels were manufactured for only a few years between 1946-1957. Because of this short window of time, the jewelry usually reflects post war retro designs. The jewelry is high quality and still underpriced.

Barclay Art Moderne Blue Rhinestone Necklace

The quality of this necklace, like many Barclay jewels, is on par with Trifari pieces of the time. Circa late 1940s/early 1950s, the design is classic post war retro, with scalloped links holding round clear rhinestones is openwork sunbursts rising from baguette ribbons curling around oval sapphire blue rhinestones in goldtone, which has developed over the years into a rich, golden glow. The necklace dips into a deep curve for a nice lay on the neck, but was hard to measure, but it seems to clasp at a maximum of 17", with plenty of chain length to adjust it to choker or collar size. Width is 5/8". Condition is Excellent, without visible wear on the golden finish, and with very brilliant rhinestones. $72

Vintage Barclay Poured Glass Necklace & Bracelet

To go with your summer tan we have found for you one of the wonderful Barclay poured glass sets. When these are found at all, they are usually green. Here are summer white collet set flower petals in smooth, heavy gold tone settings. In the bracelet, the glass pieces are individually fastened to a golden railway-type setting, and they stand up at a slant while you wear, looking very thick and rich. Be sure to check all the images. The necklace clasps with a J hook at a maximum of 16", which you can easily tighten to choker or dog collar length. The bracelet, which includes safety chain, clasps at 7 1/4" to fit a medium wrist. Both pieces are in Excellent, clean condition and signed Barclay in script, no copyright mark. Lovely Barclay Rhinestone Bouquet Bracelet

If you love Barclay, you'll notice that some of their designs and metalwork is similar to Trifari jewels, with goldtone metals get that warm glow that comes with age. This bracelet is such a design, with each 1 1/8" wide link a sweeping Art Moderne beribboned bouquet of crystal chatons and red baguettes. The gold tone finish is rich, and the bracelet comes complete with safety chain. It clasps at 7" with a foldover clasp signed Barclay in script. Condition is Very Good, with wear on some of the finish in back. Rhinestones are complete and sparkling. Enjoy this old time beauty. $58

Beaujewels Bowman & Foster went out of business in the 1970's. These jewels are always beautiful. The ones I have seen are made with riveted backings. This kind of construction is NOT unique--many costume jewelers used it, particularly during the late 1940's and 1950's including Weiss, Coro, and Judy Lee. Don't accept an unsigned brooch as Beaujewels unless you have seen the signed earrings.

Clip on earrings. These big 50s earrings have that rich, encrusted look like something Haskell would make, but they are by Beaujewels. The mother of pearl disks are surrounded on one side by faux seed pearls and grey rhinestones, and on the other by stacked golden overlay of varied flowers and foliage set with faux pearls with fancy floral headpins and clear rhinestones set in floral cups. You will definitely be noticed and complimented on this warmly glowing vintage set. Earrings are 1 1/2" and in Very Good condition. Signed BEAUJEWELS on the clips. $28

Berebi, Edgar~ A master of epoxy enamel jewelry, beginning for about 1980 to the late 1990's. Since then he has concentrated his artistic drive in other areas and has not created any more jewelry lines. In my opinion, Berberi jewelry is still inexpensive enough to be a great investment for those who love to spend their money and have it, too!

Bogoff Floral Scalloped Fleur Earrings

Bonetto This company made beautiful ladies' hinged bangle watches, rhinestone watches and watch pins during the 1970s and 1980s as well as collectible clocks. Some of their jewels are marked Bonetto, some Bonetto Digits, and some, probably later, simply Digits. Many of these, particularly the ladies, appear to have been put together by hand. Bonetto Digits today is producing watch rings, so these lovely collectible clocks and watches of the '70's and 1980's are long gone, unless you get lucky.

Big Blue Flower Bud Brooch Signed BSK

If you love vintage florals but appreciate something a little different, this BKS blue beauty is for you. Gold tone filigree leaves hold a large Lucite bud (no seams) with green magenta, and other shades of blue floating inside. Another bud is represented by a faux pearl, and both are accented by pave crystal rhinestones. BSK Dragonfly AB Rhinestone Pin

Somewhat stylized, or modernistic, but filled with Aurora Borealis rhinestones in a silvertone setting, you get femininity without too much folderol. With green eyes, a red upper body, and openwork wings and tail set with brilliant crystal ABs, there will be color and flash, without the ostentation of a huge jewels. Want something simple but striking? Consider this beautifully textured golden pin by BSK. Possibly made as late as the circa1970, when tumbled natural gemstones were in style--some costume jewelers even made rhinestones and plastics look like tumbled gemstones--but the stone is a genuine, and this little fella is cute in his pointed leaf cap, sitting cross- legged with the big claw set jade green treasure. The pin measures 1-3/4" x 1-1/2" but seems a larger size due to the 3-dimensional construction, rising 3/4" from the pinstem. On the back is the signature BSK(c). Cathe Art Glass Starfish Brooch Pendant

What a stylish starfish this is, perfect for summer at the beach or by the pool. Cathe is a hard to find signature, but those featuring fabulous art glass are the best! This one is crowded with glass cabs with streaks and clouds of mixed colors including, on each cab, bright icings of gold. The starfish "feet" point this way and that, invoking the fun and leisure of summer's days. Even the gold tone setting sparkles with texture, golden beads, and aurora borealis rhinestones. The 2 1/2" pendant comes on a 17 1/2" chain, but it also has a pin mechanism so you can remove the chain and wear as a brooch. Signed Cathe in an oblong plaque, there is a little sunshine symbol as part of the signature; perhaps this pendant/brooch is from a special summer line. Excellent condition. $58

This is a very small jewel, intended to add just a touch of traditional, conservative loveliness to any look from lace peignoirs to blue jeans and shirt. Though it seems delicate, it is not, but rather sturdy and well made. The delightful slender golden hand holds a flower made from a small guilloche pink and green rose against a white background Two faux pearls flank for accent. The pin is only 1 3/8" tall and 1" wide, but is in top collectible condition, with no wear on the gold tone finish and the pearls and guilloche intact. Marked ALICE CAVINESS on oval in back. $48

SOLDOne of Celebrity's better pieces, this ethnic revival link bracelet offers colorful and exotic molded glass enameled cabochons in each setting. This type of art glass was also used by Delizza & Elster and is called "Moroccan Matrix." Feels cool and heavy on the wrist. This jewel is 1" wide and clasps with the large foldover at 7 1/2," roomy enough for a medium to med/large wrist. Complete with safety chain, this chic collectible is signed in back of one of the links (c)Celebrity. Excellent condition.

Screw on earrings. These pretty vintage Czech jewels are sure to brighten those Siamese cat eyes of yours. I don't know how they could cram prong set navettes, baguettes, a chaton and those big oblongs into these 5/8" earrings, but they did, beautifully. Most of the stones are set into the gilded findings openback. Marked Czechoslov on the screw findings. These are just Very Good with slight wear on the gilding, and on one of the earrings you can see small spots of foil missing from the open back oblong stone. But there is no difference the outside; all the rhinestones look uniformly bright. $16

Dress for springtime and summer in this vintage nosegay pin from old Czechoslovakia. In bright gold tone, tiers of flowers, leaves and rhinestone buds blend together prettily. The flower is in two shades of pink, enameled to leave the edges gold; the same technique is used in the leaves, pale green with painted veins and shining gold edges. Gold tone wire leads to prong set oval rhinestones in red, blue, purple, turquoise and sapphire blue. This pin is 2 1/4" tall; the enamels are amazingly intact. The rhinestones, although the foil is undamaged, appear to be aging, but they are still colorful and strike sassy sparks. Marked in back on an applied oval, CZECHO. Very good condition. $38

Not marked. This wonderful openwork pin was purchased by me from a seller in Czechoslovakia, and, due to it's style and color, I believe it is from old Bohemia. Aqua blue European cut pastes are prong set into a 6 sided bar frame, while the smaller fire colored pastes are positioned in beaded arrow or double leaf motifs along the edges. One central ruby red paste, secured in a delicately beaded bezel, sits in the middle of a chased and beaded setting between brass scrolls.

The brooch measures 2.25" horizontally and 1.25" vertically. Metals appear to be brass and copper base with silver overlay. This brilliant pin is in Very Good condition, with wear on the silver plating in back. Clasps with an open C-hook. $58

Charel Charel is best known for Art Moderne Lucite thermoset jewelry of the 1950's. In my opinion, most jewelry marked Charel is is as well made as Lisner jewelry.

Rhubarb Red Charel Moonglow Bracelet

These moonglow chicklet squares are such a delicious color--almost, but not quite red, more like red rhubarb jelly! A stylish color for todays fashions, but this bracelet is from the 1950's, one of Charel's desirable Art Moderne styles. The moonglow Lucite squares are set in a goldtone so pale it's hard to tell the color from silvertone and can probably be worn with both. This glowing jewel is 5/8" wide and fastens with a foldover clasp at 7 1/8" for a medium wrist. Very good+ condition with the usual glue residue in back. Signed (c)CHAREL in back. $45
