Lovely Sperry Lavender Glass Flowers Necklace Circa 1950. Listen to this necklace as it whispers Springtime. The scattering of cool lavender glass flowers hang from thick rhodium tendrils aglow with a look of innocent pleasure. This is a well made necklace, heavy for it's size -- so delicate looking, yet so strong. The 4" x 1 3/8" centerpiece is held by snake chains ending in a double foldover clasp, so you can adjust the necklace to choker length if desired. Clasping at a maximum of 16 1/2", this engaging jewel is in Excellent condition. Signed on both claspsSperry in script. $62

Unique 1960's East Indian Mosaic Pendant Necklace Here's an unusual example of the hand made pendant necklaces that were made in the same kind of original boho style as the Indian bangles--made heavy clay enameled green, into which decorations were pressed. We don't see the pendants as often, and this one is quite unusual with it's diamond shape. Along with the pretty golden mirror pieces and the usual white donut beads, there are also spring green donut beads and rings of magenta textured wire. A scalloped golden metal wire frames the pendant like sunrays. All beads and mirror pieces are intact, as well as the paint. The 2 7/8" pendant hangs from the original 27" chain of tiny hand cut green glass beads chained together with silver colored wire. It hooks with a J-hook, tight enough to clasp on any part of the chain so you can wear the necklace shorter if you wish. You will love wearing this, and will definitely be noticed. This is a great discussion piece and a fabulously fun piece for parties and casual wear. Stamped in back MADE IN INDIA. Very Good condition. $38

Prom Queen Sparkler Married Set
Ever the prom queen, lavish yourself in this slender unsigned designer necklace of deep blue and taupe Aurora Borealis AB rhinestones, dogtooth set in silvertone and flashing a rainbow of colors. A pair of sparkling rhodium plated spray earrings have been added--they are not the true mates, but the dogtooth setting and AB rhinestone colors match well. Kenneth Lane Egyptian Revival Barge Necklace Circa 1980. In another life, perhaps you were an Egyptian princess, or even Cleopatra herself, and you floated along the Nile River in this very barge, feeding grapes to your Marc Antony. All in thick heavy gold tone metal, the 3 3/4" wide barge hangs on a high quality snake chain which ends in lacy adjustable chain and a J-hook clasp. The necklace adjusts up to 17 1/2", but there is plenty of chain if you need it to be shorter. Egyptian Goddess Pendant Necklace One of Trifari's most elegant contributions to the big articulated pendant craze of the '60's. We have a modified Egyptian tiet symbol with a sleek modern look. The tiet is associated with Egyptian goddess, Isis. You'll love wearing this jewel, for the design is elongating and slimming and will draw attention to the bustline. The angular pendant offers textured goldtone with raised polished goldtone maze designs. In the center is a large--3/4" wide--sparkling green crystal enclosed in half prongs. 1977 Golden Chain and Red Bead Necklace
This striking necklace offers color that will be appropriate for the holidays, but year around. You'll wear it again and again--the red beads do wonders for the complexion, as well as the beautiful gold tone rope chain. Notice how each loop in the chain is textured. The 14mm red acrylic beads are stationed on each side half way into the necklace, a very popular style in the 1970s. The necklace terminates in the standard--for the times--Givenchy signature findings, ending in a foldover clasp. The signatures read: GIVENCHY Paris New York and (c)1977. What a stylish starfish this is, perfect for summer at the beach or by the pool. Cathe is a hard-to-find signature, but those featuring fabulous art glass are the best! This one is crowded with glass cabs with streaks and clouds of mixed colors including, on each cab, bright icings of gold. The starfish "feet" point this way and that, invoking the fun and leisure of summer's days. Even the gold tone setting sparkles with texture, golden beads, and aurora borealis rhinestones. The 2 1/2" pendant comes on a 17 1/2" chain, but it also has a pin mechanism so you can remove the chain and wear as a brooch. Signed Cathe in an oblong plaque, there is a little sunburst symbol as part of the signature; perhaps this pendant/brooch is from a special summer line. Excellent condition. $58

Back in the 1950's, someone wore this necklace to rock around the clock. Bring out the saddle shoes and the poodle skirt! Well made and heavy for it's size, partly graduated plastic faux pearls measure in at 20MM, or about 2/3" diameter, vying for attention with high quality glass crystal beads of pure pink! This necklace clasps at a maximum of 17 1/2" with an adjustable J-hook complete with a rhinestone sparkling on the end! Condition is Very Good, with no peeling pearls or cracked crystals though one pearl, the third from the J-hook, has a small nick. This beauty has aged well, and it's yours for $48

Lisner: Sparkling Black & Brown Crystal Fringe Necklace Parure What a delightful find! Don't you love the look of fringe necklaces? They draw attention to the bust line so reliably that it's guaranteed *he* will notice. This one will add elegant sparkles to the picture with the unusual combination of black & clear warm-toned pale brown (or mink) crystals! Circa 1960, the necklace offers beautiful quality faceted glass tea-colored crystal beads, with smaller bicones and including black bicones for accent. The matching circular brooch is wired with an inner ring of brilliant very pale golden bicones finished with brass endpins, and encircled with brown and black crystals. The 7/8" clip back earrings complete the parure. Please note that although it's obvious the pieces are a matching set, only the earrings are signed Lisner. I've seen another set like this one as well, but the without the brooch. The necklace clasps with a spring ring at 22", the fringe dangle, held in a gold tone finding, is about 3 1/4" long. $110

Elaborate Whiting & Davis Large Cross Pendant This gorgeous Etruscan-style cross is partially covered by a sterling vermeil openwork decoration. There is no wear at all to the gold finish. There are no sterling marks on the decoration, probably because we can't see underneath it, but it did test as sterling vermeil. In the center of this vermeil openwork fixture is a 15mm citrine or light topaz colored rhinestone. The base cross has a shining gold tone finish, which has some very minor fleaspotting/ wear on the back. The cross measures 2 1/2" x 3 1/2" with cross bars over 1/2" wide. The Singapore-style chain is 30" long with sturdy spring ring clasp. The 'Whiting Davis' signature is found on the oval hangtag. The necklace is in very good, clean condition. #N950 $65.00 |
