Whiting and Davis Egyptian Revival Eye of Horus Necklace Demi
Parure These 1970's book piece jewels are seldom seen anymore though not impossible to find--you can eventually collect the brooch as well as the bracelet. And why not? This set is so stylish, so versatile you are bound to wear it again and again. The sleek design is highly sensual yet elegant and understated enough that it can go places the more dramatic, Egyptian revival designs might not go. Featured in rhodium and faux turquoise on page 109 in Roseann Ettinger's POPULAR JEWELRY OF THE '60s, '70s & '80s, our demi is done in thick, rich looking gold plated metal and green glass faux Amazonite cabs. The pendant, including the bale, is 3 1/4" long and hangs from a snake chain with the Whiting & Davis hang tag. The unsigned clip on dangle earrings are 1 3/8" long. The set is in Excellent to Very Good condition, with some mild wear on the chain and on the backs of the earrings. Enjoy this beautiful set for $68 |

Seven-strand Beads & Chains Necklace & Earrings Demi Parure Signed

Japanese 4-Strand Black Glass & White Bead Necklace Black & White is back in style! This dynamic color combo has been gone through waves of popularity from 1920s Art Deco, during a brief period in the late 1940s & early 1950's and then a surge of black & white op art during the 1960's. Rare,
Fabulous Copper & Confetti Lucite Set Unsigned Selro Jewelry like this set has been quietly disappearing from the market, but even so, have you ever seen a bracelet and slide pendant necklace like these? This weird & wonderful unsigned set is attributed to Selro; the style of bolo or slide necklace, including the decorated clasp is identical to other Selro pieces. The bracelet style is much more rare, but I have seen another piece with these long confetti Lucite cabs, as well as a copper set. The copper settings are set with thick dark gray-green Lucite rectangles with masses of multicolor glitter inside. The dark gray green is reminiscent of dark tidepools with glowing shells sparkling from the bottom. I've held onto this set for a long time, but its now available to whomever appreciates it as much as I do. The bracelet is enormous at a full 2 1/2" wide. It clasps at 7" for a medium wrist, but keep in mind the width; it is a bit snug on my medium wrist. On the necklace, the 2 1/2" slide is 1 1/4" wide; the dangles are 7/8". One side of the distinctive Selro is 12"; the other is 11" and of course you can adjust the slide to any length within 23" total. These scarce & unique jewels have spots of tarnish in the usual places. Very Good condition. $155 |

Vintage Pink Glass Bead Necklace & Wire Wrap Bracelet Unsigned Beauty. This unsigned set is probably Hobe. These kinds of Hobe 1-strand necklaces were left unsigned; the bracelets came with hang tags that were, of course, removed, and only the earrings of the sets were signed. Wouldn't the earrings be fun to find? In this set, pretty faceted molded pink glass beads are painted with gold designs. The combination of the facets and the shining gold paint flash like little stars as you move, catching the light. Strung on silk with white scalloped glass roundels and golden openwork bead caps, the necklace terminates in a gold tone chain leading to a cluster of white & pink beads and a J-hook on the other end. Necklace clasps at 15 1/2" maximum and is adjustable to shorter length if you want a choker or collar. The matching wire wrap bracelet is simply luxurious, with bead clusters at both end making a nice light tap-rattle sound. Enjoy for $62 |

Kramer Summer White, Gold & Rhinestones Medallion Bracelet Set This lovely set offers molded glass medallions with recessed floral designs filled with golden enamel and studded with faux diamond rhinestones. Each medallion is prong set in a an openwork coronet setting, and further reinforced by another layer, a silvertone scalloped setting in faux prongs. Each alternating double beaded set is flanked by tiny silvertone flowers--it's hard to see in the picture how intricately this set is made. This is a thick, substantial jewel, heavy for it's size. Bracelet clasps at 7" with a good fold over clasp and measures a bit over 1" wide. The matching earrings are clip on. Although this set is unsigned, I've attributed to Kramer due to a nearly identical set shown in Ann Pitman's Inside the Jewelry Box, page 135. Plus, the identical white faceted glass cabs are used by Kramer in another set shown on the bottom of page 134 page of the same book. Condition is near Excellent, with minor wear on back plating that cannot be seen without magnification. $62 |
