Shabby Pretty Antique Hand Painted Violets Pin with Golden Whirls

Most of these precious pieces were once warm gifts from artists to their friends. Most of the artists were women like you and I using patterns that could be purchased or found in the craft publications of the day. The type of flower was meant to convey a particular message--in the case of violets, faithfulness. This is a larger than average painted porcelain showing a deluge of violets and greenery, dotted with white raised dots along the left edge, painted on a glaze of subtle peach! The golden painted whirls, also with raised dots, have wear along the face that exposes the bare porcelain. Wear is common along the sides, but there's enough that I must rate this as overall good condition. Enjoy this violet delight for $28

Large Vintage Emmons Space Age Modernist Rhinestone Brooch

Emmons was in business from 1949--1981, and was a sister company to Sarah Coventry. We have for you sleek, slender, stylized leaf 4 1/2" brooch from1950s-60s era. The design offers a modernist look right out of the the Eames era, the days of bare sunburst clocks, Danish modern furniture, and atomic or space age styles. These pieces are highly collectible, and quite wearable today. Think Mad Men! Or think of how it would look subtly pointing to your cleavage! Two light citrine navettes and three topaz rhinestone chatons grace this well-made textured gold tone brooch. Signed (c)EMMONS on the back. Dimensions are 4 1/2" long x 1" wide. Brooch is Good condition, with minor darkness or wear on the finish. $23

Japan Sugar Bead Earrings

Slightly wounded but still bright and wearable, one of these earrings has a wire pulled out at the lower edge near the clip hinge. Otherwise, they look great. One-inch clip ons marked Japan on the clips. $5
