Tawny Autumn
Floral Demi Signed ART.
If you are a knitter or crotchetier, you may recall the color of yarn called "tawny." It was a combination of colors that appear in this fantastic hand enameled floral demi by ART. As a redhead, I loved the tawny colors year around, but these can't be worn by any complexion, but the colors will definitely enhance certain hair and eye colors and spark up lackluster outfits. Imagine these enameled jewels against olive green, white, khaki, taupes or even purplish beiges. You can do delightful things with this happy set with green leaves, golden brown flowers with orange center and bright yellow streaks and dark brown stems. The jewelry is enameled front and back! The brooch is nearly 4" tall; the clip back earrings are 1". All pieces are signed ART(c) under the paint. Very Good to Excellent. $48 |

Juliana Style Diamond-Shaped Long Navette Brooch Pin in Aqua, Teal, Light Peridot
Rhinesones. Formed into a tilted square, this creatively designed pin is a gleaming wonder loaded with light aqua and light spring-fresh peridot long marquise cut rhinestones set against each other checkerboard style and accented by winking light perdiot colored chatons. The double layer design is framed with bright teal, or blue-green chatons. My scanner doesn't like teal or blue green, so if the chatons look blue, remember they are TEAL. All stones are prong set in rhodium. The pin is 1 7/8" x 1 7/8". The matching clip on earrings are a bit less than 1 1/4" tall. Although the navettes on the pin look darkened at the edges in the photos, they are not--I checked thoroughly under magnification. The are all still clear & bright. On the earrings, the long navettes at the very tips are slightly darkened. Condition of pin, Excellent, earrings are Very Good. $55 |

Frosted Glass Apples Demi Parure Circa 1970, these are jewels for an enchantress. Is that you? There's depth & a clean blaze of splendor frozen at the heart in the apple shaped frosty glass stones, a glow reflecting peach, golden yellow and pale green. Signed (c)SARAHCOV on all pieces. The brooch is 1 3/4" tall x 1 5/8" wide. The matching clip-on earrings are 1 1/2" tall x 7/8" wide. A scarce signed treasure, Sarah's Delicious demi parure! This set is in Excellent condition. $45

De Lizza & Elster Juliana Blue Crystal Brooch Set This snazzy vintage set has been verified by the Discovering Juliana Jewelry group. It features a brooch shaped like a pair of wings with two layers of long, slender navettes--the top layer is gorgeous sapphire blue laying across a base of fabulous crystals. All the stones except the cluster of brilliant chatons in the middle is prong set open back in a gold tone finding. The 2 1/2" x 2 1/4" Brooch is thick, sitting about 5/8" from it's base, and it is heavy for its size. The matching clip back earrings are 1 7/8" x 1 1/8". Everything is in excellent, clean condition. $88

Pin & Earrings Demi Circa 1940s. These floral jewels may be small, but the high quality light emerald green rhinestones can flash & sparkle from across the room, inviting....In each piece the center stone is prong set in a brass petal-shaped cup surrounded by other brilliants, half-prong set on the outer side. The 1" pin is thick and heavy for its size, in a riveted gilded frame. The signature, Barclay in script, is beneath the pinstem. The 3/4" matching earrings are screw-back. Carved Lucite Brooch & Earrings Demi with Roses These 1950s beauties are getting harder and harder to find, especially in sets. But today we have this lovely rose demi here for you at Enchantment! The brooch is a clear, very thick (1/2") Lucite oval that looks as if embedded with pink roses and green leaves. The roses have a nice luminescence. The brooch measures 2 1/4" wide and 1 1/8" tall. Americana Brooch & Clip Earring Set Here is the ultimate Sarah Coventry book piece, featured in several Costume Jewelry books, including page 201 of Judith Miller's book, COSTUME JEWELRY. You can define styles of the times by looking at old Sarah catalogues. This Maltese cross brooch with red, white & blue glass cabs set in a goldwashed, embossed bead setting was manufactured in the 1970s, when Maltese cross jewelry was fashionable, and so was bicentennial patriotic jewelry. This highly collectible set is in excellent, sparkling clean condition. The brooch is a bit over 2 1/2" in diameter, the clip earrings a bit over 1". All pieces are signed. Vintage Crown Trifari Enamel Dogwood Brooch and Earrings Another book piece, featured in Signed Beauties of Costume Jewelry by Marcia "Sparkles" Brown, pg. 185.Every collector should consider adding this classic set by Trifari to her jewelbox. Well known and featured in other books on vintage costume jewelry, vintage ads, and pure popularity, this diminutive set is elegant for all occasions but the most formal. Although...wouldn't bridesmaids look lovely in these jewels in an outdoor wedding? The gold tone pin is textured on the petals with clustered golden stamens in the center. The white enamel on both pin and matching earrings is immaculate. The brooch measures 1-3/8" across and the clip on earrings are 7/8" across.
