Coro Marquette Ad Piece Necklace Set Necklace and clip on earrings with screw adjustment. This seldom-seen set by Coro is striking and altogether complimentary for many complexions and to blend with many colors, even prints. This cream colored set is called Marquette in this Corocraft ad, White is so Chic! from 1958. Although the set is exactly that pictured in the ad, the diamond shaped thermoset inserts are light cream beige colored and the Necklace and earrings are all signed Coro(c), not Corocraft. The metal is heavy gold tone. The necklace is 3/4" wide and clasps at 16 1/4" with an adjustable J-hook. The matching clip earrings are 1 7/8" tall, and can be adjusted for tightness with the screw attachment. This set is in near Excellent condition, with no wear on the gold tone or thermoset inserts, only a few chips in the enameled chain link. Enjoy this very collectible, hard-to-find Coro beauty! $68 |

Vintage Japan Blue & Black Glass Bead & Crystal Necklace Set. This exquisite 1950s demi parure is as cool as a dusky blue evening on the beach, full of shimmering stones. The necklace is made of cobalt blue glass beads alongside brown glass beads, gray swirly glass, and dark Aurora Borealis blue-green glass crystals--giving off winks to match your eyes--or his! These alternate with opaque plastic black faceted rounds, some with filigree bead caps, and lentils. The shortest strand adjusts up to 17 1/2". Japan is marked on the J-hook. Findings are gold tone. The 1 1/8" clip-on earrings, also marked Japan, repeat the colors of the beads and crystals, wired onto goldtone findings. Necklace is in Very Good condition, with some wear on the brown beads that blend in with the design. Earclips are Excellent. $54 |

Jazzy Moon & Hyacinth Rhinestone Full Parure You are not afraid of attention; in fact, you thrive on it. This astonishing necklace, bracelet and earrings set will deck you out for notice! This unsigned set is high quality and obviously from a design house. The color combination is just beautiful--with rhinestone chain of small hyacinth (an orangey red, similar to Siam) stones framing the incredible satin glass moonstone navettes and chatons. All stones are prong-set in silvertone metal. The middle of the necklace centerpiece is 1 1/2" wide, and clasps at 16" The bracelet is 7/8" wide and clasps with a foldover at nearly 7" for a small to medium wrist. The incredible clip on climber earrings measure 1 3/8" by 3/4". Everything is in Excellent, clean condition. These sparkling jewels have to be yours! Buy now for $155.

Scarce Lucite Ice Tongs Full Parure
With chromium or chrome plated tongs, a tribute to the Art Moderne style from the 40s and 50s. If you have a library of costume jewelry books, you've seen the clear Lucite "ice" clasped by "tongs" in various formats. These, like many, are mechanical--the "ice" twirls in the tongs. The chunky necklace and bracelet Lucite cubes measure 3/4" x 3/4" on the broad sides, and both have silvertone chains--the bracelet has an S chain, and the necklace a cable chain, though the pieces are all definite mates. The necklace clasps at 18 1/2" with a spring ring clasp; the bracelet clasps with a foldover at a bit more than 7", to fit a medium wrist. The clip on earrings dangle 1 3/4". You will be so retro, so stylish, in this vintage moderne set. It may be a long time before you see another full parure, so if you've been wanting a set, better claim it now! Highly collectible. Castlecliff Blue Satin Glass 3-strand Choker and Earrings Set Accenting your natural allure may well be what Castlecliff had in mind when they created this dreamy choker, three strands of 6mm etched faceted satin glass beads. Each strand is longer than the other, so they separate when worn. The beads have a frosty look, light blue, as blue as early morning sky, very pretty against the silvertone findings. The central part of the necklace offers delightful rhinestone roundels, and the matching clip back cluster earrings offer rhinestone headpins. The necklace clasps at 13 1/2" with a gorgeous 7/8" crystal rhinestone push-in clasp. amd the earrings are 1". Only the earrings are signed. Marvella Rich Pink Faux Pearl and Glass Snowball Necklace Earrings Set
Remember Hostess Snowballs? They were double packs of round cakes covered in a marshmallow coating with snow like candies or coconut on top. They had pink ones just like the beads in this necklace and the earrings! What a confection of lovely shades of pink. The faux pearls are a dusky salmon pink; the snowball beads are made of coral glass dashed with white paint for the snowball effect. The double strand necklace is adjustable up to 16"; and see how the strand connect to the bow shaped terminals--only in the 1950's would you have piece like this. The J hook also sports a single rhinestone. Earrings are dome shaped, about 7/8" in diameter. Everything is in Excellent condition. All pieces are signed MARVELLA(c) $68

Lisner Red Moonglow Necklace & Earrings Strawberries Set Here's a book piece beauty featured on page 49 of MID CENTURY PLASTIC JEWELRY, by Susan Maxine Klein. Circa 1950's. When you wear this sumptuous red stylized strawberry necklace, he'll want to eat you up. Each link features a delightful red fantasy fruit in smooth gold tone with beaded golden pit and a textured leaf. The J-hook clasp will adjust from dog collar or choker length up to 16 1/2" long and 1" wide. The matching screw-on earrings are 3/4" x 1 1/8". On the back of the necklace, two links have mild wear to the smoothness of the gold tone, but no chipping, and the wear doesn't go all the way through to the base metal. Otherwise Excellent. $85.

Diamante Prom Queen Ribbons & Flowers We have for you not just any prom queen necklace and earrings set. The main interest is the extremely feminine arrangement of large teardrop crystal rhinestones with the usual diamante chain. But look at those dangles on the earrings. As you dance, the chains will wriggle along with you and he won't be able to keep his eyes off your beautiful face. And if that is not enough, the orchid centerpiece will point to your décolleté, drawing ladylike attention to your best attributes. You must have this lovely set. The necklace clasps with a spring ring at 15 1/2", but has a sweetheart dip for the centerpiece which will add a little more leeway. The orchid centerpiece is 1 1//2" x 1 1/2". Large Vintage Chinese Cloisonné or Champleve Enameled Butterfly Necklace & Earrings SOLD Circa 1965. Still a flower child? Look what a rare, fabulous set we have for you! The first time I spotted a similar set is on the cover of this book, Nicholls' Antique Enameled Jewelry. This set is designed after the look of rare antique Chinese cloisonné pins and necklaces. A double fan is the base piece decorated much the same as the one in the picture, with applied butterflies and flowers enameled in subtle blues, pale green, and very light lavender among decorative vines and foliage. The metal is textured in a way similar to mesh, but it is solid and is is 3 1/2" wide x 2 1/2: long, with 4" of golden chain fringe dangling from the center. Accented with jade colored cabs, each side held up with rope chain, this is a substantial, obvious designer piece with no tag to be found. Total length of the necklace is 18" but allows much more room due to the dip in the fan. The necklace has a large spring ring catch. The 1 1/"4 hoop earring are clip back and also enameled in pale green with blue leaves and flowers. Enjoy this scarce, beautiful piece from the days of flower power, when creativity seemed to be at it's peak. Everything is in Excellent condition. |
