Glorious
Vendome Silk Beads and AB Crystals Parure
The colors in the scans came out too green, so here is a more accurate scan of the colors. This Vendome set is in top condition and highly collectible as a parure. I generally avoid those satin covered beads beloved in the 1950s because so few survive without at least some of the satin threads worn or pulling loose--but not on this set! It is in pristine condition, as if it were lain in a box and rarely, if ever, worn. The largest of the big champagne satin covered beads are 7/8" in diameter. The aurora borealis crystals flash clear crystal, spring green, yellow. blue, peacock and fiery pink, with colors from the environment adding and changing their sparkle as you move. The big beads and graduated sizes of strand length make for a dramatic bib-like display. The lovely oak leaf findings are bright, wintry silvertone. The necklace clasps at a maximum of 16," with extra chain to tighten if desired. The earrings offer diamante endpins and a clip on finding with screw adjustment for your comfort. They are 1 3/8". The bracelet is 8" long, but because of the size of the beads, it clasps comfortably only for a medium to medium/large wrist. I tried it on to make certain; my wrist measures slightly less than 7 1/4", and the bracelet fits me comfortably. The Vendome signature with no (c) mark, is found on every piece. Everything is pristine! $145

Vintage Trifari
Stained Glass Look Dangle Pendant Necklace Earrings Another set from this same line are featured on page 236 of Julia Carroll's COLLECTING COSTUME JEWELRY 202; there are at least three kinds of necklaces and earrings. This is an unusual vintage Crown Trifari set from the late 1960's/early 1970's, an Art Nouveau Revival style. The colored glass (or faux glass, can't be sure which) is thin and transparent enough to give it a very realistic pliqué a jour look. The beautiful green and reddish colors are set into gold tone openwork floral motif with articulated drops. Pendant with the bale measures 3 1/8" tall, and hangs with a 16" double chain. The clip on earrings are 1 1/8". Pendant bail, and earrings are signed TRIFARI(c) with the crown above the T. Excellent condition. $88 |

Jet Black Crystal Necklace Fancy Clasp
We have for you a high quality designer signed double strand black crystal necklace. The graduating jet crystals are very sparkly. The textured gold tone chunky 2" clasp offers tiered scallops each centered with tiny black rhinestones, possibly a stylized pine cone or other seed pod. The design is unusual with the shorter stand having larger crystals, up to 18mm. The second, longer strand is 28", five inches longer than the first. Total clasping length is 25". Added are a fabulous pair 2 1/8" jet glass crystal earrings with big drops dangling from marquise cuts. The unsigned clip on earrings are set with smart gold tone findings that match the necklace clasps beautifully. The necklace is signed Flora on a plate beneath the clasp. Sarah Coventry Purple Wisteria Pendant Necklace & Earrings Set Circa 1970. This beloved chandelier style pendant necklace spills a sparkling waterfall of oval faceted Lucite beads that are so fine and clear they look like glass. The branch holding the silvertone tendrils is engraved with an Art Nouveau-esque design. The the pendant, including the bail, measures 4" Long x 2 1/8" Wide. The 25" chain closes with a spring ring clasp and has an extra jump ring so you can adjust the necklace to 21" if desired. The clip-on earrings are 2" long. All pieces are signed (c)SARAHCOV and are in Excellent condition. $48

Pastel AB Rhinestone Floral Necklace & Earrings Set
Absolutely stunning! This sparkling Bogoff necklace and earring demi parure offers 3/4" flowers filled with aurora borealis crystal chatons that flash from goldtone beaded settings. Colors are mainly blue, pink and yellow, along with glints of the rest of the rainbow, depending on the light, and they are glorious, though very hard to capture in the scans. Both detail views are the most accurate. The necklace clasps with a J hook to a maximum of 19" but can be adjusted to choker size if desired. Matching clip on earrings are 1-1/4". The jewels are Excellent, pristine condition with vibrant stones and no finish wear. A beautiful Bogoff pastel rhinestone necklace set! $165

Beaded Grapes by Park Lane Brooch Pendant & Earrings Set
This set is one of Park Lane's earlier lines, probably from the 1950s, offering gorgeous openwork leaves from which descend a deluge of multicolor bead "grapes." The beads are like faux pearls, a lovely pastel combination of mint green, pink, lavender, pale yellow & blue. Note the wonderful beaded openwork design on the leaves of both pendant and clip-on earrings. The pendant is also a brooch, so you can remove the chain & switch a brooch The earrings drop; the brooch/pendant, from top of leaf to lowest dangling bead measures 3 1/2". All pieces are signed Park Lane and are in Excellent condition. $68

Blue Satin Glass 3-strand Choker and Earrings Set Accenting your natural allure may well be what Castlecliff had in mind when they created this dreamy choker, three strands of 6mm etched faceted satin glass beads. Each strand is longer than the other, so they separate when worn. The beads have a frosty look, light blue, as blue as early morning sky, very pretty against the silvertone findings. The central part of the necklace offers delightful rhinestone roundels, and the matching clip back cluster earrings offer rhinestone headpins. The necklace clasps at 13 1/2" with a gorgeous 7/8" crystal rhinestone push-in clasp. amd the earrings are 1". Only the earrings are signed. Very Good+ condition, with bright rhinestones and sound beads. $78 |

Trifari TM Pink & Lavender Glass Cabochon Necklace & Bow Earrings Set This pretty little set won't overwhelm a diminutive woman. Pale lavender and bright pink glass cabs are set alongside faux pearls in a swirling golden openwork. The centerpiece is suspended by a herringbone chain and clasps with a spring ring. Clasping length is 16" with an extra little bit of space around the centerpiece, which would rest right in the dip of the collarbone. The matching clip on earrings are 1 3/8" bows, with the same glass cabs and golden openwork. All pieces are signed Trifari TM. Excellent condition. $35

Golden Age of Lisner Voluptuous Bows Necklace & Bracelet Set Rhinestones! From the early 1940s we have something a bit different for Lisner collectors--a voluptuous necklace and matching bracelet bracelet demi parure in golden bows, accented with emerald green and clear rhinestones. The solid construction reminds me a bit of Trifari, and these kinds of post war bows adorned with rhinestones were popular throughout the 1940s and into the 1950s. The set is in excellent vintage condition with no damage; the golden finish is unmarred, the rhinestones still bright. The necklace measures approx 19 1/2" in end to end length and the bracelet is just over 7 1/4".Very Good + condition. These beautiful older pieces are getting harder to find. All pieces signed LISNER on clasps. Enjoy $88

Weiss Prom Queen Sparkler Necklace Set You have always been queen of the prom, and you always wear a better-than-average prom queen set. This one by Weiss is made up of rows of clear rhinestone chain, looped and festooned at the centerpiece. The matching clip on earrings dangle like the dickens and will drive the prom king crazy! As we were scanning this sparkler, a stone fell out on the left hand side of the chain, but don't worry, we've since put it right back in it's pretty little prong set place! Necklace closes with hook and chain at a maximum of 16", and the dangling clip on earrings are 1 3/8" long. Everything is marked WEISS and is in Excellent condition. $55
