Rhinestone Craft Butterfly Necklace
This lovely vintage necklace could have been produced by Craft anytime between the 1960s and 1980s. The remarkable 2" x 2" gold tone butterfly pendant has pave wings with black stone accents, a center bezel set with another diamante crystal; the body is a faux pearl drop. The herringbone chain is is 15 1/2" by measure, but the butterfly dips in somewhat, drawing attention to your décolletage and creating more room; so this probably fits like a 16" necklace. Signed CRAFT(c) on the reverse, this necklace is in Very Good condition, with three tiny black stones having glue residue you need a loupe or strong reading glasses to notice. The crystal rhinestone are sparkly and clean, the faux pearl is undamaged, and the gold tone finish is unmarred. A beautiful Craft butterfly necklace! $55

Beautiful Coro Golden Faux Pearl Butterflies
Though the scans of these butterfly brooches by Coro turned out with wavy streaks, the gold plating is in absolutely Excellent condition, as well as the prong-set off-white faux pearls. Each butterfly pin is 2" tall x 1 5/8" wide. Signed Coro in slanted script (no copyright mark) on the reverse, these jewels are in Excellent condition. A twin pair of Coro Butterfly brooches! $45 |

It has a gold tone setting with burgundy, yellow, light blue and green enamel. The pendant is called Fly Away. It measures approximately 1 ½ inches across and 1 ¼ inches tall. It is in excellent condition. The chain clasps at approximately 16". It can be worn choker style or necklace style. Blue & Green Jewel Creations Rhinestone Butterfly
Unsigned, but you can see an example of these butterfly brooches in an old jewelry creations catalog here. These were put out by the same company as Dodds and 11 W. 30th St, but sent out to crafters to set their own stones. Bright blue and green pave rhinestones in a golden finding adorn this distinctive butterfly with scalloped wings and red rhinestone eyes. With a wingspan of 2" wide, this lovely jewel is in Excellent condition. $24

Caviness Sterling Enamel Butterfly Pin
Here's a brooch you may have never seen before. The sterling filigree butterfly is a bit heavier than you might expect; it's a very well made piece signed ALICE CAVINESS and STERLING GERMANY. The lacy filigree is brilliant; the enamel dabs of sparkling green and blue color the body; plus more green and blue along with yellow and apricot dot the wings with color. Looking with a 5x loupe I can see a chip of missing enamel from the blue-green dot on the mid-upper right wing. All the rest of the enamel is intact and the pin in overall excellent condition. Measuring 2" wide x 1" tall, this rare, highly collectible piece can soon be yours! $68

Painted Green Monarch Butterfly
Monarchs are orange; I've never seen a green one, but during the 1960s, butterflies could be any color, even green! This brooch is made from soft molded plastic and appears to be hand painted. The back is all black, and the pin is light and will not sag down from your sweaters. A big brooch, this glamorous insect is 2 3/4" on all sides. $28
