This much beloved gold tone brooch features a blue enameled mother bird on a textured branch, guarding a nest of faux pearl eggs. She has a round emerald green rhinestone eye.  This  is desirable for collectors--Gerry's made wonderful collectible pin in several colors. The jewel is p erfect for springtime and would make a wonderful gift year around. The back of the branch is signed Gerry's). Dimension are 2" wide x 1 1/8" long. The textured golden metal of this gracefully designed swan offers glamour and imagination with it's sweep of pink crystal bicones among the tail feathers. Only Kramer could create such a brooch. Princely Green & Purple Rhinestone Peacock

Unsigned, attributed to Sphinx. Sphinx made unsigned pieces for customers who wanted to sell pieces as their own, or because they were in a rush to meet demand--and who wouldn't demand such a proud, princely sparkler?

His smart array of feathers means this boy wants to charm you, and maybe he can! Little faux pearls in half prongs dock the ends of each large feather, flanked by purple rhinestones stones set against green enamel.  and followed by another set of blue enamel textured feathers topped with more stones. His graceful body is plump with stones, and he offers glowing green and purple enamel from  his neck. He's high quality with decent helf. . Measuring in at 2" x x 1 7/8", he'll add a noticeable touch of sparkle and color to your ensemble.  Condition is Excellent. With the quality of Sphinx and the price of an unsigned beauty, he's yours for $48

Circa 1960. This golden pin is just beautifully made, with brushed goldtone body, polished golden hoofs, textured horns, adorable feathery tail and garnet rhinestone eyes. The leaping position IDs this pin as a masterpiece in vintage costume jewelry. Most Monet jewelry is also washed in 14k gold; we haven't tested  yet, but will shortly. The little pin is heavy for its size, as most Monet jewelry. On the diagonal, from the tip of the farthest horn to the lowest hoof is 2 1/8". Signed MONET(c), this jewel is in excellent condition. $18

Vintage Truart Sterling Silver Happy Lamb Brooch

Circa mid to late 1940s. This little guy wants go everywhere with you! Just looking at his glowing stance will give your admirers a smile~ This beautifully designed lamb brooch is 2 7/8" tall x 2" wide and made of lightweight engraved sterling sterling silver. No one else has this graceful pin. I've searched high and low, and am convinced this jewel is a true rarity. This is a 1950's modernist design done wholly in chrome except for the red rhinestone eye. Measurements are 
2" wide x  1 1/2" tall, and the brooch is in Very Good condition with minor discoloration near the signature plate in back. A wonderful piece! $135

Just the thought of this bossy little guy will get you up in the morning with a smile. This textured golden rooster stands proudly on his branch with plenty to crow about. After all, his perky comb is covered with red rhinestones, his face and collar with pave crystals! Even his tail feathers radiate with red, blue and crystal rhinestones, all channel set and winking like the devil! Big '60s Gold Crown Inc. Pewter Peacock Pendant Necklace

We have for you today this handsome pendant necklace straight out of the swinging '60s, or possibly early '70s. This pierced, openwork pewter or pewter tone beauty is decorated with champlevé enamel in turquoise, cream, red and black. The pendant itself is 3 3/8" wide x 2 1/2" tall and hangs 1/4" x 2 1/2". this strutting peacock is adorned with lots of turquoise enamel with yellow, orange and black accents. The jewel fastens with a J-hook and adjustable chain at a maximum of 24", but you can wear it tighter if desired. Marked Gold Crown Inc on the reverse, this necklace is in Excellent condition. If you love figural swans, you simply must have this exquisite little Coro piece. One of Coro's high quality jewels, the swan is beautifully made in textured goldtone metal, engraved on the swans neck and tail. The swan's body is wonderful faux pearl studded openwork, and the swan has a red rhinestone eye. Though the swan is only 1 5/8" x 1 3/8", she seems larger due to her curvy dome shape, standing about 1/2" from the pinstem. Circa 1960, this beauty is signed in back (c)CORO and is in Excellent condition. $38

The swan's graceful neck is enameled in black and white, leading to a magnificent blend of autumn flowers of dark red,  forest, & deep blue, blended & dotted with gold. Truart Sterling Silver Penguin in Graduation Cap

This chubby little fella has certainly earned that degree, don't you think? He certainly doesn't look like the other kids and doesn't wear the most stylish clothes, but he's knocked himself out to please you. Will you take him home? AT 3 1/8" tall he's larger than usual, but his reputation is sterling. Marked Truart Sterling on a little paint palate in back, this brooch is in Very Good condition, with perfect sterling with the usual spots and crevices of tarnish. Enjoy! $55

Rare Foxy Lady Sterling Vermeil Earrings

Screw-on earrings. These fox earrings will wink at him when he turns around to get another look at the beauty wearing them. The two fierce looking little night creatures are nicely detailed metalwork, delineating fox textures from which the delightful green rhinestone eyes glow. Measuring a bit less than 1" tall & 3/4" wide, these unique jewels are in Very Good condition, with just a bit of faded vermeil, hardly noticeable. Enjoy for $34.

Gerry's Golden Poodle Pins with Red Collars and Rhinestone Eyes

Scrappy little Christmas poodles, with red enamel bow collars and green rhinestone eyes. They're little things at 1 1/8" tall apiece, but there's two of them, so watch out! Their pose is endearing, and their price can't be beat. All textured goldtone, both are signed Gerrys in back and are in Excellent condition. $25

Unsigned, but attributed to Capri. See Marcia Brown's Signed Beauties of Costume Jewelry Vol. II, page 48. What a poodle!  This grand dam of show poodles, in beautifully crafted jewelers pewter, sports a deluge of openwork flowers for curls! And what a sweet pose she strikes; there is elegant character all about her; even her face. Dimensions are a three dimensional 2" x 2"; she hangs from a 24" chain. No signature, but an obvious designer piece, probably designed in the 1960s or '70s and marketed with a hang tag. A wonderful jewel in Excellent condition. $48

Rare. He's doing what ponies love, prancing wild in a flower-strewn meadow of yellow enameled flowers with green leaves and faux pearls. Decked out with rhinestones in his mane and tail, he holds in his teeth a pink enameled jeweled rose for his lady. He deserves to be worn by someone who loves him as much as I do.

At 3 1/4" tall and 2 1/2" at the widest, he's a big boy from the early 1950s, around the time Coro was making their pretty horses. My friends insist this brooch is a lost Coro, but he's unsigned. He's high quality with good heft, made from thick cast metal finished with golden plating. The near-Excellent condition is remarkable--I could not find any wear in the plating on the front, and on the back, only a bit along the edges. Rhinestones are bright and faux pearls are faultless. You (and I) may never find another like him. $125

This guy is gorgeous with green and yellow-orange paint in stripes across his body and flowing into his textured tail fins, alongside bright pave crystal rhinestones. When you consult him for the time, he'll wink at you with his rhinestone eye. His golden comb like fin is decorated with crystal Aurora Borealis AB rectangle rhinestones flashing rainbow colors of blue, pink and green. Dimensions are

Cathe Art Glass Starfish Brooch Pendant

What a stylish starfish this is, perfect for summer at the beach or by the pool. Cathe is a hard to find signature, but those featuring fabulous art glass are the best! This one is crowded with glass cabs with streaks and clouds of mixed colors including, on each cab, bright icings of gold. The starfish "feet" point this way and that, invoking the fun and leisure of summer's days. Even the gold tone setting sparkles with texture, golden beads, and aurora borealis rhinestones. The 2 1/2" pendant comes on a 17 1/2" chain, but it also has a pin mechanism so you can remove the chain and wear as a brooch. Signed Cathe in an oblong plaque, there is a little sunshine symbol as part of the signature; perhaps this pendant/brooch is from a special summer line. Excellent condition. $48

1950's. Here's a rare and very plump little angelfish by H. Pomerantz. The gold tone metalwork is full of detail, with scaled, brushed fins, polished stripes, and a poufy-cute mouth. He has peacock rhinestone eyes and turquoise bead accents. He measures only 1 3/4" wide x 1 /34" tall, but he's plump enough to make and extra half a pin, standing 1/2" from the pin stem. This is the first time I've ever seen this fish, so if you want him better buy now; you may not see another. Very Good + condition. Enjoy. $75

Here's one of Truart's round sterling pins that could be as early as the mid 1930s. Lovely, detailed openwork shows the delightful seahorse, an angelfish with bubbles and seascape within a frame of textured leaves. This brooch is 2 1/8" in diameter, and the sterling is darker than it shows in the picture. Very Good condition, with tarnish. $48
