This dazzling beauty is one of the nicest creations I've seen by ART(c). The goldtone plating is so interesting with the combination of polished and engraved textures, and the three dimensional stacking of layers is just right for this piece. Light and medium topaz crystals topped with golden beads twist here and there as if going straight for the sun. Accented by AB crystals in little dewdrop cups on the leaves and among the flowers is is endearing. The brooch is 2 3/8" x 1 7/8" and is in Excellent condition. Would make a great gift for the redhead in your life. $45

Swoboda Bird on Amethyst Branch, Nest with Gemstone Eggs

For you is one of the much loved signed Swoboda bird in nest pins. It seems they made them all differently! This one is a ceramic bird painted turquoise blue and medium lavender on a gold plated branch loaded with amethysts; she guards her nest of carved howlite eggs. This pleasing arrangement will be an ideal springtime gift or to wear to the May Day parade! The pin is 1 1/2" across and rises 5/8" from the pinstem. Very Good condition and signed (c)SWO Inc. $55

H. Pomerantz Aurora Borealis AB Leaf Brooch.

Circa 1955. For sheer vintage sparkle plus collectibility, we offer this fairly well- known H. Pomerantz leaf brooch. The pale goldtone base of the leaf is convex in the center, dipping sensuously inward to the vein of ruby red Ab rhinestones. Then the sides plump up into a slight dome, with the main body of pave AB crystals can playing off one another's light, glinting mainly a pink and gold blush. All the rhinestones are bright, even the small line of baguettes in the leaf stem. At 2 7/8" long this simple jewel will add a large splash of elegance for evening. Signed H. Pomerantz & Co. Here's a brooch in a kind of dusky lavender. In this particular brooch the unfoiled, openback stones pick up and transform some of the color beneath--whatever you are wearing. Perfect for spring or even a wedding, the leaf offers not only prong set marquise cuts, but a line of Aurora Borealis AB crystals down the center. Everything is set in gold tone. Limoges Painted Porcelain Dark-Haired Lady Portrait Pin

We have for you today one of the most popular costume jewelry ladies in this portrait brooch from Limoges, France. The porcelain oval has hand-painted embellishments over the transfer, with the dark haired lady as demure as ever and her Mona Lisa smile as enigmatic! The porcelain is bezel set into the standard 1940s twisted wire frame; it fastens in back with a trombone clasp. Measurements are 1 7/8" x 1 3/8". Very Good condition. Art Deco Pin with Ruby Red Hexagon Stone.

Larger than the usual collar pin, this circa 1920's piece has a Czech look to it, but no signature. The stamped brass has aged beautifully, is free of verdigris, full of beaded and floral decorations and studded with prong set green, blue and red pastes, some of which appear to be older cuts, similar to old mine cuts. All the stones are unfoiled. The center faceted hexagon stone is fabulous ruby red, just gorgeous, set openback in decorated prongs. The back is equipped with an open C-clasp. This pin is 1 7/8" wide x 1 1/4' tall. Very Good condition. $58

Sterlingcraft is among the better Coro signatures for sterling vermeil brooches made during the 1940s, when base metals were called in by the US government. The style is retro modern, for sleek, geometric, or curvy ribbonesque sterling brooches and other sterling jewelry made during that same time period with either one rhinestone or just a few. These are usually unfoiled stones. This beauty is 2 7/8" tall x 2 1/4" wide and offers three beautiful unfoiled sapphire glass stones prong set into openback settings. The vermeil has no wear mentionable and the brooch is in Excellent condition. Signed inside the smaller ribbon curl on the left side, Sterlingcraft by Coro around the inside of an oval plate. $72

DeLizza & Elster Juliana Blue and Green Rhinestone Brooch

Verified by Frank DeLizza. The blends of colors in this star-splashed jewel will be the only thing you need to dress up a set of khakis or evening silk. The center stone is a very unusual unfoiled smoky lavender oval, prong set in a layered openwork finding. This incredible stone is haloed by a ring of sapphire chatons and bordered by a tilt-a-whirl of blue and green navettes, accented by a couple of emerald chatons. All in gold tone, this jewel is 1 3/4" tall x 1 1/2" wide. Excellent condition. $45

This beautiful peacock, cockatiel, or bird of paradise was created and copied by several designers or manufactures during circa 1930s to mid-1940s. I've never seen one signed. This is the shorter version at only 3" tall. In Warman's Vintage Jewelry, 2008 edition, page 10, author Leigh Leshner shows this bird in several sizes and explains that differences in design sizes were common. Crystal rhinestones are pave along the body and tail feathers of bird, who also sports a twinkling blue rhinestone eye. The bright silvery finish does not show much wear, and the rhinestones flash like crazy. Very Good+ for this beloved antique. Fastens with early safety catch. $68

Bewitching Autumn Beaded Cluster Brooch

The bewitching hour is near, and time to wear this mysteriously Haskellesque beaded flower brooch, decorated with clusters of glass moonstones, faux pearls and rhinestones in undreamed of color combinations--teal, hyacinth, fruit & gold! Rose montees glisten from golden lacy filigree in a wealth of autumn crowded into one spectacular brooch. Warmth. The brooch is 4" tall, the base flower formed by a wondrously undulating filigree and twisted chain forming the stem along with golden beads as florets. This brooch is chunky, rising 3/4" above the pinstem. Very Good + condition. $53

Huge Spectacular Vintage Rhinestone Bow Brooch -- 6" Wide

Years ago, a customer wanted a vintage bow brooch at least 6" wide for her wedding. I've been on the lookout ever since, and though she is now happily married, there is someone reading this right now who wants the biggest brooch we've ever offered on Enchantment. Though the style is circa 1935, the brooch is rhodium plated, unusual for its' day. Though unsigned, it's a beautifully designed and well made.

Each side looks like an angel's wing, with flighty openwork and raised tiers of square rhinestones incorporated into the pave design

As you can expect with a brooch of this period, some of the rhinestones are aging, but none are discolored and the overall look is sparkling, brilliant and clean. This incredible jewel is 6" wide from the widest points; each side is 3 1/8 tall. Condition is Excellent! Enjoy this rare, rare beauty! $160.

Crown Trifari Blue & Silver Rhinestone Beauty

Circa 1960. Here's a great brooch to accent your sparkling eyes and smile from daytime to evening. Sinuous waves of brushed foliage looks as if it's dancing beneath moonlit water, full of sparkling sapphire blue and ice blue chatons stuffed into polished silver tone leaf shaped settings. The 2 7/8" brooch is also slender, 1 1/2" wide, for easy placement and slimming lines. Signed in back TRIFARI(c) with the crown over the T, this brooch is in Excellent condition. $58
