Vintage Retro Bow Brooch

Reverse    Another View

Retro Bow Plane Brooch with Rhinestones

Oh, this striking pin is just so Retro, the style transitioning from mid 1940s to early 1950s. Yes, it's a bow, but also notice how much movement is implied with the curling track structure, quite suggestive of a WWII airplane with brilliant prong set aqua ovals and clear chaton accents  decorated for victory. Beautifully designed in several layers, and equipped with a good safety clasp and pendant fob, this historical pretty measures 2 1/4" x 2 1/4" at the widest points, and about 2/3" thick. Excellent condition. $48

Here's a gorgeous red tulip brooch signed in back Original by Robert in artist pallet. Offering a bright lipstick red flower head, black stamen and dark green leaves, this meaningful jewel is in top condition. Enamel and gold plating in back are clean and smooth. In this view, you can see the black stamen peaking out from the petals. The brooch is a bit over 3 inches tall, but it is slender and light.  This bright spot of pure red will add pizzazz to the right outfit. Excellent condition.  $38

Brilliant 4" Vintage Floral Rhinestone Coat Brooch

We have for you this spectacular 4" floral brooch, loaded with pave and hand set rhinestones in shining rhodium plated base metal. By style this brooch appears to have been made in the 1930s, but the rhinestones are so brilliant this brooch could be as late as 1950s or even 1960s. Pave clear crystal chatons and ovals decorate this beauty, and the stones really sparkle like Eisenberg stones.  The flower head is concave, with oval petals flashing off the pave center. With a 5x loupe I can see minor aging, but overall, this brooch is will be a real attention grabber. Heavy even for it's large size, the brooch should probably be worn on a coat or jacket, but you can also put a chain through the closed pin mechanism and wear it as a pendant. Very Good+ condition. $78

Rare Vintage Brooch

Unique Desert Bloom Vintage Rhinestone Brooch

This incredible brooch reminds me the biblical quote: "the desert will bloom with flowers. It will be very glad and shout for joy."  An obvious designer piece,  this undulating floral circa 1955-60 is an unsigned beauty. In brushed gold tone, the stalk branches of into several separate flowers--prong set navettes in emerald green, topaz blue and sapphire blue. For beautiful accent are pave crystals and diamante chatons in coronet cups. The navettes are big, the largest blue on top being a full inch in length. The brooch measures 3 1/8" x  1 1/2 at the widest, but it takes up some area, rising about 1/2" from the pin stem.  With minor chips and wear are seen only on the back,  this attention getting jewel is In Very Good condition, with sparkling rhinestones and intact finish. $55

Incredible, Rare Robert Enameled Poppy Brooch

This brooch is not your average Mod flower power piece, but a delicately shaped metal sculpture of undulating petals and sinuous stamens with golden filaments and black anthers. Colors are petal pink with spring green stem. Petals are outlined on the tips with black. This brooch is in top condition, with intact enamel except for occasional chips along the black edges. Heavy for its size, the brooch is 3 1/4" tall x 2 3/8" at the flower head. As you can see from the pictures, the jewel is quite 3D, with the layers of petals making the flower head rise 1 1/2" from the pinstem. Excellent condition.  Signed in back on applied artist pallet Original by Robert (c). She will think of you every time she dons this  rare beauty.  $65

Coro Vintage Brooch

Coro Blue Navette Enamel Floral Spray Big Coat Brooch

Beautifully vintage, this sweeping  spray was probably done in the early 1940s prior to WWII. If you look at the Coro patent styles of this era you will notice they used enamels on their big brooches in the early 1940s, but it could have been made as late as the early  1950s. This is a well preserved, gorgeous brooch. The gold plating has wear only on the tops of the prongs setting the blue navettes, though the foil on the back of the navettes is intact. The green enamels are intact. Someone probably kept this pretty in her jewel box to wear on special occasions. Large at 3 1/2" tall by 2" wide, this treasure is in Very Good+ condition and could be yours--or hers--this season! $68

Crystal Brooch Signed ART

Exquisite Crystal Spray Brooch Pin Signed ART

This dazzling beauty is one of the nicest creations I've seen by ART(c). The goldtone plating is so interesting with the combination of polished and engraved textures, and the three dimensional stacking of layers is just right for this piece. Light and medium topaz crystals topped with golden beads twist here and there as if going straight for the sun. Accented by AB crystals in little dewdrop cups on the leaves and among the flowers is is endearing. The brooch is 2 3/8" x 1 7/8" and is in Excellent condition. Would make a great gift for the redhead in your life. $45

vintage rhinestone peacock Sphinx

Princely Green & Purple Rhinestone Peacock

Unsigned, attributed to Sphinx. Sphinx made unsigned pieces for customers who wanted to sell pieces as their own, or because they were in a rush to meet demand--and who wouldn't demand such a proud, princely sparkler?

His smart array of feathers means this boy wants to charm you, and maybe he can! Little faux pearls in half prongs dock the ends of each large feather, flanked by purple rhinestones set against green enamel and followed by another set of blue enamel textured feathers and more stones. His graceful body is plump with jewels; he also offers glowing green and purple enamel. He's high quality with decent heft.
Measuring 2" x 1 7/8", he'll add a noticeable touch of sparkle and color to your ensemble. Condition is Excellent. With the quality of Sphinx and the price of an unsigned beauty, he's yours for $48

Vintage orchid brooch

Exquisite Hand Painted Bouquet of Orchids Brooch.

Rare. Better than one orchid are more orchids, and this brooch offers a bouquet of three delightful flowers, with each top petal hand painted freckled white and yellow with underlying petals of coral, blue and lavender. For accent there are two prong set, sparkling dark blue and aqua rhinestones.  It is a lightweight brooch, construction very similar to other enameled jewels I've seen from Austria, although I can't be sure where this vintage beauty originated. Notice how some of the petals and the green foliage are lined with gold. This marvelous, rare  jewel is 2 1/2" tall, 1 7/8' wide, and rising in 3-d layers 1/2" from the pin stem.  I've never seen a more beautiful orchid brooch, have you? None of the paint is chipped or worn, the rhinestones are clean & sparkling, the gold tone finish sound.  Excellent condition. $38
