Sell Your Vintage Costume Jewelry
How to sell your costume jewelry to
Enchantment.
Many folks write and ask about selling their jewelry. Because we sell to
collectors and our condition requirements are so high, I need to see the
jewelry before purchase. This means that, if we think we can make a
deal, you will eventually have to send the jewelry to me so
I can inspect it myself.
If this is agreeable to you, please start by emailing
me scans, photos, or descriptions of the jewelry you want to sell,
including any markings, and overall condition. I will let you know then
if I am interested in some or all of your jewelry and send directions on
shipping or bringing the jewelry to me.
Please send the jewelry individually bagged, and if you like, priced.
Generally I pay 1/4 to 1/3 of the price I can expect to eventually
receive for the jewelry. With special signed pieces in excellent
condition, I may pay much more. With very large lots, the price is less.
If you have priced your jewelry, I may email you with a counter offer.
I will send any jewelry I do not want to buy back to you promptly at my
own expense If I do want some or all of the jewelry, you will receive a
Paypal payment or a check, whichever is best for you.
